Here's the little announcement we sent out about the adoption. As expected, the phone lines started burning up as soon as they reached mailboxes and inboxes. We did a great job of keeping it a secret because we wanted everyone to find out by seeing her precious little face. People told us about crying, screaming, and jumping up and down when they saw the news. All of the good karma being sent our way will certainly help to power us through the rest of the paperwork. Thanks!

Congratulations! We have a Guangxi girl ourselves (Feb 06 LID, traveled in Feb/Mar 09), and it is a lovely place. You will adore it there. Your daughter is beautiful. I am so excited that you'll be holding her before long! :)
I'm a little late to the party. We also have a Guangxi girl and she is amazing, smart, sweet, gentle (I could go on and on)! I have no doubt that your Emmilene will amaze you as well. She is stunningly beautiful, by the way.
We loved Guangxi as well -- the noodles there are really delicious! I won't comment on any more posts, just know that this Guangxi-girl-Mommy is overjoyed that you were blessed with a precious treasure from beautiful Guangxi, China!
