Gotcha...Plus One Month

I think I'll just let the pictures do the talking, but suffice it to say that we are absolutely AMAZED at the progress our incredible daughter and family have made in the past month. We met a scared, inconsolable, grieving little girl, and today we have a happy, giggling, thriving daughter. She is everything we dreamt of and so much more. Her laughter fills our little house, and her smile could light up the world.

Pictures!

We love you, Emmilene!!

Families are often not formed by birth, but by love. It was a short (but felt like forever) journey from strangers to love - but we always knew that she was YOUR AND OUR child. She was meant for our family. There is no doubt. E is the loveliest and luckiest child in the world. We know that she has the most loving parents she could ever hope for. As the old song says "we have only just begun...". What a wonderful world it will be. Love you all! Pattie and Joe!

Thank you for sharing your journey. My husband and I would love to grow our family through adoption and your story is beautiful! Thank you again.

all it took was to feel the love and be comfortable with it- sometimes these little ones don t know how to deal with all the love and care we give them-- it suffocates them and they do not understand it-- so happy all is soooooooooooo much better !! God is good !!! Cathy in illinois mom to almost 16 yr. old adopted from China in 1998

That has got to be the planet's most expressive set of eyes...! It's great to see how well things are progressing; I'm really happy for you all. (And back when she'd let us put a bib on her, the Pipsqueak would often wear one just like in the "happy chocolate mess" photo, but with "Uncle" instead of "Aunt"...!)
